Squirt – I am a female brown tabby, 2-3 yrs old. Despite my young age I have gone through quite a lot. I was rescued as a stray and then adopted. Just when I thought I would never have to worry being homeless, my owner passed away unexpectedly and I am left homeless again. Gean is a 3 year old, gorgeous silver tabby and cream, female, spayed. Gean came from a very rough home situation about 6 months ago. She was very fearful at first but has made huge progress since. Gean is now a sweet girl who loves pets and brushing. She rubs on your legs and loves to play with her toy mice. She is somewhat of a 'diva' and likes to be treated like a princess. She loves her little pink bed that is all her own. She lives with several cats but would be best on her own or with a female cat. She 'cries' when she wants attention or food, it's pretty cute! Although Gean has become much more trusting she can still be skittish at times being spooked by loud noises or quick movements so a quiet, adult home would be best with a family experienced with cats who can be patient and understanding. TIGER - 3 yr old neutered male. I am a very regal looking dude with a photogenic face. I don't mind my picture being taken. However, my favorite past time is playing a game of fetch with my foster mommy and sorting thru my ample toy box to see which mousey I am going to play with next. I love to look out the window to see what's going on. I would hate to miss anything unless of course, I'm chillin in my warm and cozy bed. When I was first found I had a badly injured paw, was very thin and hungry. I was absolutely desperate for someone to help and love me. Now, I am totally healthy and happy with the exception of one small thing - I tested positive for FIV. My foster mommy and educated friends say that gives nice guys like me a bad rap http://cats.about.com/cs/healthissues/a/fiv_in_cats.htm. I don't care about it as I am healthy, happy and social. In August 2010, I found this nice lady who would feed me twice a day and give me lots of treats. Temptations are my fav! She couldn’t take me into her home because she had 2 dogs and they do not like cats. Boy, are they missing out! In January 2011, I got into a scuffle and got a cut in my leg. It got infected so the nice lady immediately arranged for me to see a vet about my wound and at the same time, got me vaccinated and neutered. All went well in my recovery foster home – I was in purrfect health. A few weeks later I was adopted but it seems that with my current owner’s lifestyle and my separation anxiety, it’s not working out. I need someone who can help me work on that and be home more often or someone who has a cat already and wants a playmate. I’m a big furball of love waiting to be someone’s FOREVER pet. According to my current 'owner': "He is very relaxed for the most part, not really into playing... he loves his scratching post and it's the only thing he's scratched (and I will give that to whomever takes him if they want it, along with the rest of his things)... he loves to eat, he's fairly quiet (not much of a meower) and he's very good if you need to clean his ears or clip his nails. He loves to be brushed. But he's timid, scared of anything noisy (dishwasher, vacuum, hair dryer) he even runs away if I am changing the garbage and shaking the plastic bag..." As described by his loving foster mom: "Bobby appeared in my yard this summer thin and dehydrated; since then he has transformed into a loving domestic cat who gets more friendly every day. Bobby is ready to move from temporary shelter and find his very own home. He likes listening to classical music, and just running around. Bobby is gentle by nature. He loves attention and needs lots of space. He would not do well in a small apartment or condo or in a home where people are largely absent. He has been fine with docile female cats and other neutered male cats."
